Tour six beautiful, festively decorated homes, while listening to our talented show choir students perform their favorite holiday songs.
The BROWN home 10205 E 300 S
When I was a young kid, I always said I wanted to live in a box with one wall of giant windows. Who knew that finding the perfect piece of property on Zionsville Moms would allow that dream to come true?
Jeff and I have poured every ounce of love and detail into this modern masterpiece. When our friends at One10 Studio designed it, we told them that we wanted nature to be the art. We think they nailed it. This home is truly one of a kind and is even more special since my husband built it!
Music is central to our family, so we are so elated to have the Zionsville Show Choir kids performing in our home. We know “modern” is not for everyone, but we hope you experience the warmth and peace and tranquility that we feel living here. I always say this house feels like a hug.
So we are sending you and your families big hugs this Holiday season and thanks for coming to visit. Merry Christmas! Ellie + Jeff Brown and family
The MAUCERE home 4362 Riverbirch run
Merry Christmas from the Maucere Family! Welcome and thank you for visiting our Steven Sears custom home which was built in 2005.
Show Choir performing music in our home is a wonderful treat! Thank you for supporting the Zionsville Show Choir Program! While strolling through the house you may notice musical instruments in many of the rooms. Growing up, our sons, Nick and Jack, loved making music with pianos, guitars, and drums. Now both of them live in Nashville, Tennessee pursuing their musical careers.
Before every Christmas season Mark sets up the trees and decorations. He takes weeks to do it and we have now designated different themes for each tree. There is the My Sugar Pie tree, the travel tree, Grandpa's tree in remembrance of Bobby McLain, Kelly's Dad, and the Grami & Boppo's tree in remembrance of Mark's Parents, Joan and Ed Maucere. We leave our trees and decorations up into mid-January because we love the cheeriness they bring to our home and we like the visual reminder of the reason for Christmas, Christ's birth.
May your Christmas Season be filled with all good things, especially Love, Joy, and Peace! The Maucere Family
The Cox hOME 3963 Club Ridge Estates
Merry Christmas from the Cox Family! We love the festive season, music and, of course, our talented students. This is the fourth year our daughter has played in Combo and we welcome visitors of the Holiday Home Tour in support of the Zionsville Show Choir.
This is the second time we have participated. The first was the inaugural Carol of Homes in 2012. At that time our home was very traditional in a more rural setting. Fourteen years later, we are pleased to share our new home in Holliday Farms on the Holiday Home Tour. Built by Homes by Design, this home has a modern and open feel. We especially love the outdoor living and wooded views overlooking the 10th hole of the golf course. We enjoy decorating for Christmas and have blended some of our more traditional decor along side more modern elements.
Christmas is a special time for our family. We enjoy the decorating, piano recitals, baking, and cherished traditions as well as sharing time with one another. We wish you all Happy Holidays filled with peace, joy and love!!
The Cox Family! Liz, Jim, Caroline, and Lauren
the shaw home 360 Raintree drive
Happy Holidays from the Shaw family! Our son has been part of Royalaires for the past 2 years, and we are excited to participate in Holiday Home Tour. I grew up in Raintree and always wanted to move back, just down the street from my parents. I have the best memories biking into town, playing in Lions park and swimming in the creek. Luckily, I was told about a home going on the market from my now neighbor and I begged my husband to just go “look”. Well, we bought our forever home two years ago and have remodeled the majority of the house, honoring its character while creating an updated space for our 3 children and 5 pets.
Our kids love living so close to their grandparents and pop in for sodas, candy, and anything my mom bakes. And Brock and I enjoy all the wildlife, mature trees, and neighborhood community. We love our home and our neighborhood. And we hope you do too!
Merry Christmas! Brock, Erin, Brady, Grayson, and Ellie Shaw
the DIFFENDAL home 255 W HAwThorne street
Happy Holidays! We are grateful to have purchased this property in 2013 and love the little life we lead in the Village. My children attend ZCS and I serve as a board member of the both the Zionsville Runners Club and the Zionsville Farmer’s Market…we love being part of the Zionsville Community! The Holiday Home Tour fills our hearts with excitement for the season every year – this year is extra special as my daughter performs in Zionsville Choralaires and we are honored to host! Some of you may fondly remember this house as the Hussey Memorial Library. Originally constructed by the Hussey family around 1900, the home was donated to the town of Zionsville in 1957. It opened its doors as a library in 1962 and served the community until 1997. While some renovations were needed to welcome the public, neighbors remember the “warm charm of the house remained – the relaxed atmosphere encouraged children to talk and adults to linger and exchange the news of the day”. We hope you enjoy the newspaper articles and historic pictures displayed on this tour.
Christmas is our favorite season, and we are happy to share it with you! You’ll find we have a love of period-style antiques and generational family decorations.
Welcome to our historic home! Alysia, Talia and Emerson
THE inman HOME 6628 belfair court
’Tis the Season! Christmastime is here … filling our hearts and warming our homes. This one became ours in 2016. It’s watched us grow and learn, pursue hobbies, host loved ones, have parties, and much more. But most of all, it’s nurtured and comforted us … as a good home will do. Thank you for visiting in support of Zionsville’s Show Choir kids and the Performing Arts.
Music is such a uniquely special outlet for self expression and creativity … one with which we are very familiar … and the Christmas kind stirs our senses of nostalgia and happiness.
We hope the tour elevates your holiday spirit, brings back a fond memory of a Christmas past, or perhaps inspires you with an idea.
